“Summer Camp” Workshop for STEM Teachers

Florida Advanced Technological Education (FLATE), the National Science Foundation Center for Excellence in Manufacturing at Hillsborough Community College, is hosting a summer camp style workshop June 28 – July 1, 2010, exclusively for teachers that will focus primarily on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum and resources. Participants will explore various facets of robotics and the STEM curriculum, learn about nanotechnology, and how to add content to their teaching toolbox. A $100 stipend is available to individuals who register and successfully complete the workshop.
